In this interactive 2.5-hour virtual workshop, we will explore practical strategies for building strong, healthy, and balanced relationships with young people. Centered around social-emotional learning (SEL) and human-centered approaches, this session invites participants to reflect on their own practices while learning new techniques to foster trust, connection, and mutual respect in relationships with youth. Through a blend of facilitated discussion, reflective exercises, and scenario-based learning, participants will explore key principles such as emotional attunement, boundary setting, and restorative communication.
By the end of the session, participants will have gained tools and strategies to support youth in feeling seen, heard, and empowered, while maintaining their own well-being and boundaries as mentors, educators, and caregivers.
